We are an organization of people with backgrounds in technology who believe if our community is more engaged with our government, we can make progress towards that future together.
In the 2020 general election, it started with an idea of “what if we could have FastPass for voting?” A band of local tech companies and individuals came together to quickly build an app that gave the public visibility into real-time wait time information at vote centers in Marion County. The app was a hit, and from there IN Tech for Progress has continued to work at the intersection of civic engagement and technology.
